Texas is quite great, and quite huge.
Look for the delegates at the democratic/republican conventions to all say their state is great when accepting the nomination of so and so for pres.
Example: "We, the great state of Mississippi nominate GW for president". My problem with this is that every state is going to proclaim it is great, which cant possibly be because each state has a quality of life ranking among other indicators, and every state simply cant be a "great" state. But they keep on saying it at those conventions every 4 years.

Even though I am a little biased, I think the only thing missing in florida are mountains. Other than that, it's almost perfect.

You have:
Fresh water Springs
Tons of lakes and rivers
White sand beaches. Not the dirt beaches like I notice Cali beaches have.
The Keys
7 professional sports teams
Disney World (Magic Kingdom, MGM Studios, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon, etc)
Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure
Busch Gardens
Sea World
Wet N Wild
Salvador Dali museum
Nasa/Kennedy Space Center
3 of the best college football programs in history
Enough open land for bike riding and numerous national parks
I could go on and on

MIchigan? Well, yeah, there's a lot of cool stuff in both peninsulas. Outdoors people would especially love the Upper Peninsula; plus there's lots of cool rivers and waterfalls, plenty of places to snowboard in the winter and a surplus of water for summer fun.

Yeah, we've got tons of CC companies...

JB -- What alcohol laws don't we have?? You got some weird ones in PA?? At least here in DE you can go to the liquor store for everything and not a state store, etc.....

We've got the non smoking law now tho here in DE....
