is this still good?

I have a 20ml bottle of bac water, and took out 5ml a year ago, it exp in 2005, but it's been open for a year is it still good to use?

what do you mean by "open?"
do you just mean that the seal was broken, i assume?

if so, it's probably not contaminated if you used sterile technique when withrawing fluid from it but you can't know for sure..

by open I mean seal off and withdraw with sterile technique
I asked this question because I was told that onced I withdraw from it I let air in which in return it can go bad after a few months

like I said, no way to know for sure unless a professional looks at under a scope..
can you just buy some more?
If not, to be honest with you I'd probably use it if it were ME. But that's just me.
As long as you only used it a couple of times using sterile technique and it hasn't been that long ago..

I would throw it out. However if you're feeling lucky and the solution is clear it may very well be ok.
