Is this method of taking T3 good?

Some old vet at my local gym ( total freak!!! ) takes T3 in a different way unlike others do. He says that this way is better because you can go longer on T3 and without totally suppressing your thyroid. He says that he does like this....

Day 1: 12.5mcg
Day 2: 25 mcg
Day 3: 37.5mcg
Day 4: 50mcg
Day 5: back to 12.5mcg
Day 6: 25mcg

And you get the picture. He says he does this for up to 9 weeks. He says he's been doing it like this for years and never had a problem. What do you guys think?
 
it's an average of 31.25mcg per day. why not just stay at 25mcg instead of getting cute with it?
 
25mcg a day wont do balls for you... I’ve known quite a few people who have done it and most don’t really get results until they hit 75 or so. Sounds like a major waste of gear IMO...v Try something like:


4 Days-Set 1 T3 25mcg Per Day (Half a 50mcg tablet) Total-100mcg
4 Days-Set 2 T3 50mcg Per Day (One 50mcg tablet) Total-200mcg
4 Days-Set 3 T3 75mcg Per Day (One and One Half 50mcg tablet) Total-300mcg
7 Days-Set 4 T3 100mcg Per Day (Two 50mcg tablets) Total-700mcg
4 Days-Set 5 T3 75mcg Per Day (One and One Half 50mcg tablet) Total-300mcg
4 Days-Set 6 T3 50mcg Per Day (One 50mcg tablet) Total-200mcg
4 Days-Set 7 T3 25mcg Per Day (Half a 50mcg tablet) Total-100mcg
 
gofastman, so for 7 weeks you do this? All on gear I suppose. Does it help you get ripped? Won't going that high suppress that thyroid bro? Although, what you guys think of taking something like ZIP! or an ECY or ECAY stack while on T3? Too much?
 
look carefully... "4 Days-Set 1" = 4 days
now add them... that’s 12 days to get to 100mcg's, then you stay there for 7 more days, then 12 more to ramp back down... = 31 days...

one month... I have never used it while on, i only used it once liek 4 years ago to lose a little beer belly i had going quickly. I also have put overweight people on this schedule to lose fat quickly. When doing cardio 5 days a week, and eating right on this pyramid schedule I have seen 20lbs lost in a month more then once
 
its got a 2.5 day half life, why would it matter if you took 50mcg one day and 12.5mcg the next? By the time he gets to the lower doses like 12.5 or 25, his body has built up over 100mcg in his system.
 
i haven't used it with gear, so i can't say. 12.5-25 mcg seems to be the recommended dose though when using with AAS (assuming your goal is bulking and you aren't using the AAS to prevent catabolism on a T3 cutting cycle), preferably 12.5 mcg a day. 25mcg a day might completely shut down the thyroid.
