that I can download now, or do I need to buy it? Can someone give recommendations? Thanks in advance.

Your DVD burner should have come with it's own program like nero ...

I use a pirate program from the UK which downloads the DVD onto your hard drive then washs the encryptions and copyright protection before burning to a new disk . I've seen hundreds burn dvd's that only playback on that diver and don't work worth a shit on another machine . Mine work everywhere and layer 7.1 which most will not

I use nero for data dvd's and cd-r's
I use CloneDVD and DVD shrink to copy dvd movies
I use AOA dvd ripper to actually rip DVD content to my harddrive
I use Sonic MyDVD to make my own movies that my DVD player in my living room entertainment center can read and play

you can find any of these through torrents

HR give me till tomorrow.. I have a ton of software that was purchased. I can send you a copy if you would like. ;)

I'm not sure what layer 7.1 means...sorry to be dense. Where can I get this program?

dvd shrink, etc. - you have to be a meastro to figure all those steps out.

i believe 321 studios makes it easy as 3 clicks. I think the type of dvd burner you have is also important. The cheaper and no-name the burner - the better. Some of the best buy off the shelf fancy dvds, kiss movie companies ass, and won't burn copy-protected dvds. I think many hackers love nec dvd-rs. I got one.

What you got? I might want some.

I use DVDFab to rip the DVD minus the encryption to my harddrive.
then I use VOBBlanker to remove the dead cells (very popular now days)
Then I use DVD Shrink to burn it to the blank DVD. (very simple)

I have copied probably 300 movies this way so far.

ripping DVDs is a higly illegal activity... you're a lawyer and should know better
Not to back up your own DVD's isn't illegal.

you're bypassing the embedded security devices of the DVD, including and not limited to:

encryption algorithms
Copy-Protection algorithms
Authentication algorithms

that ain't legal, as it's tampering

Maybe in Germany..you German bastard. :lmao:

if u own it, u can do whatever u want, as long as you don't distribute (make copies). eg: u can modify a harley, but u can't create a new bike from scratch and call it a harley.

dvd shrink is probably the most idiot proof software out there at the moment. use that.

also, as soon as a lawyer breaks the law, i think its safe to say that theyre...tainted ;)
