is it possible for you body to grow acustomed to one brand of protien powder and for it to stop having the same affect >?? do you think its good to switch brands every week or so ?? thanks for your time

If you find a good protein, stick with it. In my opinion proteine powders with different kinds of proteine are the best. You won't get results by switching proteine brands. Proteine is proteine, if you have a good one, you won't benefit from switching.

I doubt this. I have never heard of such an experiment being performed or any type of results leading to this conclusion. Protein is Protein so you cannot become accustom to a type because it is the individual amino acids that are being consumed. I doubt this!!

This is not a flame, I just have a hard time figuring that this would ever happen

thanks for the responses so far . i was just wondering cause i have been taking about 5 pounds of optimum whey a week , and was wondering if maybee i should supplement any other style of protein in with it ? thanks for the help...

Basically all protein powders on the market are whey...they're all the same. You don't build a tollerance to nutrients. If the human body did it would starve to death. What would happen if you built a tollerance to water. Bad things, Bad things. Same aplies to food. It's a neccesity. Stick with the Optimum as it's inexpensive and good quality.
