Is it ok to store a "partially used" vial sideways?

Hey guys - the title says it all. I am curious if storing a partially used vial sideways (one that I have used a 20guage to suck some product out of)? Will any product leak? I did a 1 minute "upside down" test - and none seemed to leak. Thoughts? Opinions?

One guy I new left his vial on its side and it leaked out, I don't know exactly why or how, but he said it leaked.

you know te thought crossed my mind "is this guy trying to sticky tape his gear to the underside of something"

look to be honest there will likely be seepage. find another spot, OR in future, draw right from the lip of the vial, and then have the hole situated uppermost. then you will have no seepage..

why not just draw the remaining fluid{hcg,test,etc} left in to another syringe and store it for later use ?

It would have to be a BIG syringe its one of the "bigger" containers .
