Is Creatine really safe?

i've heard from friends who've asked their doctors about it and they say that it can damage your liver somehow and that you shouldn't take it all the time and that instead you should cycle it? is that true and if so how long should you cycle it for and how long should you stop? also, is there anything like milk thistle you could take to maybe make it easier for your liver to absorb not just creatine but any supplements?

a suggested cycle would be 3 weeks one, 1 week off.

the first week on you will see the most gains.

really? that sticky "complete guide to creatine" said to do 4 weeks on 4 weeks off ..

I always used creatine (8 years)I made blood tests and a eco to my liver and kidneys and everything was cool, so I suppose creatine it`s a safe bet.

Yeah i am not to sure about it either, my mother use to work at a docs office and he told me prolonged use of creatine COULD cause kidney stones down the road, but i have not found any data that correlates the two. Hell its been around for a good amount of years, if it was not safe we would be seeing some sides and word would have gotten around already, SAFE in my eyes!

Anything oral could potentially over time effect your liver just as drinking or even eatting shitty. Fact is it's a safe bet because it wont damage your liver any more than say McDonalds and people eat that crap all day every day however it is in place to help your health not hurt it. Not to mention it is already aturally produced by your body and found in fish and milk to a minimal degree.

Cycle it because you dont want your body to quit needing processed creatine.

You talking CEE or Mono?
