Is Adobe Premier 7 worth it vs. Premier 6???

I can get Premier 6 for a couple hundred dollars while 7 costs over $500. Being somewhat new to complex vidoe editing, I doubt that I would take much advantage of the differences.

Am I missing something here?

They are having techical difficulties with the adobe premier download. Figures....I just want to see if I have a hardware or sftware problem limiting my ability to put video on teh computer.

Oh well....computer users are usually nothing but brain damage to get help from.
