is 25ga X 5/8 long enough...........???

is a 25ga X 5/8 needle long enough to do delt injections, i have very little body fat in this area and my delts are not very large any way so im pretty sure this would reach deep enough into the muscle. any suggestions? i was also thinking of using these for trap injections.


i hope they are long enough cause i just bought 75 of them from wallgreens!

I perfer 1 ". But if you push the pins all the way in and press against the skin then you should be fine. Just be careful not to break the needle off underneath the skin.

im using 1amp of prop eod. i want to put .5cc in my delt 2X per week, will .5cc be too myc for my first delt injection or shold i go .25cc??????

if it is just .5cc a 5/8" should be ok. once i get to a 1cc or more there is more leak-back with the short pins, and also a lump.

the lump shouldn't be bad at all if it is only .5cc

shooting the muscle when pumped can cause more back-leakage. just be aware of that.

regardless of when i shoot, i always immediatly do a few very light (5lb db) sets of laterals. this eliminated most of the pain later, and also helps prevent the "lump" effect.
