Irregular EKG

I was referrd to a cardiologist due to an abnormal EKG. Yesterday I saw him, had another EKG and he said its def. abnormal. Know I have to get a stress test taken and Echocardiogram 1st thing Tues a.m.

I'm stressing because I'm 2 weeks out from my contest, in which I'm trying to lean down.
Supps daily- 1-2 T-rex, 2 Lev-rex inbetween meals and 4 Hoodia per day, plus YES pre w/o. He told me to cut out caffeine to 1-2 cups per day TOTAL. :(

Can all the fat burners be contributing to the abnormal EKG?? I don't want to jeopordize my health taking all these supp.s I have no family history of cardiac problems.

The only thing that might be causing this, is that my thyroid no.'s came back too low .23. My doc. is lowering my dose from 100 mcg. Synthroid to 88 mcg. starting toda. Could my drop in BF causing me to go into hyperthyroid? i.e. too much medication ?

I don't have an answer....but I hope it will turn out OK...

does your doctor know you're competing? because when we prepare for contest we put our body under no-normal levels of stress in order to reach our goals regarding fat, muscle, etc.

on the other hand, regarding your thyroid there are supplements which may cause effects on the gland making it either to work more or to work less. Your doctor (endocrinologist) may know if what your taking is affecting you.

I will talk to the cardiologist about pre-comp. training on Tues. I did tell him I w/o 6 days a week.weights & cardio and folllow 40/30/30 diet. He doesn't know the specifics of the fatburners and h20 deplete etc. in the last week. This all started in April which is why I'm baffled as I wasn't as strict as I've been most recent.

Thats what I'm considering and see if symptoms go away, not going to consider clen at this pt. until I hear whats going on next week.rather play it safe.

I had the exact same problem and I'm pritty sure clen and other fat burners is what caused it. I haven't went to see a specialist yet but plan to in the not to distant future.

what about ECA?

Regarding ECA... ephedrine should not be used if you have high blood pressure, heart or thyroid problems... be sure to ask your doctor if the ECA stack is right for you
