What do you think of it?
Im thinking of getting one. Mainly for use in the gym.
Thinking about getting the 799 model with 1gb memory.

I had a 128MB Iriver. I liked it alot, couldn't really think of anything wrong with it. Once or twice it had trouble powering up but it took alot of being dropped on the cement before that. It still worked though.

Yeah it wiill set me back a couple of dollars. But it seems small and practical.
Im still using a portable cd player i got in 97, so i figure i gotta update anyway.

I got one... I like it...

it is the only mp3 I have ever owned... so I can't really compare it to anything.

My is the 512mb model..... long story, but I only paid for the 128mb....

ive had 3 players, the last being an iriver 395 something. its the best ive ever bought.

the only bad thing about it is that you cant copy music back on to a hard drive from the player.

I had an IRiver held 256 mbs, was awesome, i even left it in my shorts after the gym one day put it through the was and it still worked after it dried out, minus the headphome i had to buy new ones. That one got stolen, i now have a rio cali 256 mb version, i like it a lot too!
