So interviews went well last week - (Re-cap Went to headhunter/was presented 7 different open poisitions/5 I thought were of interest/3 wanted to see me/After the interviews I only have an interest in one company position)
Now the position I had an interest in came back to recruiter and said while I do not have the experience in the extremely higher level position I applied for (couple up from where I am now but I figured I would take the chance) they want to see me again ASAP to discuss working with the firm in a different capacity. Wants to meet casual over coffee and not in interview setting.
So -
1. Is it bad to jump on the first firm to offer?
2. Since it appears to be somewhat guaranteed-ish what are good questions to ask to get a better feel of the department / environment / etc.
3. What do I do if he directly or indirectly offers me the position there and then over coffee?
Heading out this afternoon so any guidance from you guys is greatly appreciated =)
