It has come to my attention that the longer some of us are on the more we now bleed. It wasn't as much when we started, now it seems a way of life to some.
Theory #1 : Over the course of years we have in fact grown muscle tissue. From which comes more blood vessels than adipose tissue, thus increasing the odds of hitting something that will bleed more readily.
Theory # 2 : With this " newly acquired tissue " comes over time the increase in the amount of capillary networks due to the nature of the exercise ( most often strenuous ), thus increasing odds that way.
