AAS Versus Natty.

If you took a guy who had a few years of lifting under his belt but just started traning seriously 1-2 months ago and put him on a great diet, some supplements, and hard core dedicated training. What would the differences be in gains made over a 4-5 month span then if that person included a standard starter AAS cycle with the exact same diet, routine, plus proper PCT...

Im trying to convince some knuckleheads at my gym not to take AAS, because they can gain greatly with the simple factors. They say that they think it will take too long and too much working out to gain the size they desire in the amount of time they set out to make.

Well, first cycle gains would be like 12-25lbs. Natty would be like 3-5 and that's with a very strict diet and hardcore workouts and lots of rest.

Sounds like they are being lazy. Nothing will convince a person who wants to be lazy. A friend of mine started right in on a cycle, liked the results and just after he got done, quit lifting. Of course, kept very very little of what he gained. Steroids are to be PART of a bodybuilding lifestyle, not a substitute. Quote me on that.

They will gain more with the juice, but without good training base, will lose all of it more than likely.

Most people can get amazing results naturally. The problem is that they are lazy and uninformed about how to do it. Thus, comes in the problem of people getting on AS when they don't need to.

Too many newbies on EF talking about cycles when they need another 5 years of training and 40lbs. of muscle naturally.

I get young guys hitting me up all the time about this. I always tell them that I trained consistently for 15 years before ever touching AAS. I was helping people with their cycles and diets for years before I ever did them myself. I'm not saying that one has to wait for 15 years, but you should be able to train naturally and eat right for a good 3 years before jumping on AAS. Your gains will be better and you will be less likely to injure yourself.
