Well since I used to smoke I already knew the results so I guess it wasn't really an experiment, but I digress.
So Saturday night my cousin and I were headed to a bar, and of course, we want to meet some chicks. So I told him that we should stop and buy some cigerettes and a lighter, he was like WTF, we don't smoke. I told him that smoking is a very social event and since in California you have to go outside of the bars to smoke, smokers like to huddle together and socialize while they smoke. You also get a lot of people that will ask for a light or a cigarette, these people usually wind up striking a conversation. So I told him that aside from meeting chicks, we were aslo going to make friends. (Of course, I had to teach him how to hold, drag and flick a cigarette the "cool" way). So we get to the bar and have a few drinks. About an hour later we see a nice crowd gather outside to smoke, so we made our move. The plan went through without a hitch. As soon as we lit up, a couple next to us started "hey, how's it going guys, blah blah blah" shaking hands, etc... Then some chick comes up and asks for a cigarrete and sticks around talking to us, then another crowd of chicks comes outside to light up and starts talking to us. So in two smoking trips we had made a lot of friends, talked to several "prospective" ladies and blended in as if we were locals and regulars, it was a good time. Unfortunately, my cousin got a little too drunk. He drank 2 adios mother fuckers, and he's a light weight so by midnight, he was too incoherent and he had thown up in the bathroom so I figured it was better to get out and take him home before he got stupid and/or annoying.
Anyways, the moral of this story is that if any of you guys who go to bars/clubs want an easier time meeting people/women, take some cigarettes.
