im not French, im Greek........ i didnt mean for what i said to come off as all pissy.....the French dont have a great track record with war....but more people tend to dislike America and see its eventual downfall rather than the French......besides my original post was about society becoming more open to certain aspects in life like in France and most of Europe.....im Greek, for me strange being in America and it seems there are more rules restricting people than necessary, and everyone gets so offended so easily.....

people see the eventual downfall because thats what they want, deep down thier haters. trust me, this country falls, so does the rest of the world. it may sound arrogant but we are the greatest superpower. most of the stability in the world is because of that. we have our allies backs, if we didnt you just dont know what kind of chaos would happen. not to mention practically everything is based on our economy and dollar.

pull our financial aid, military support, importing of goods and technological advances in all categories and see what happens to the haters.

Americans are also pretty arrogant....they believe they are the best at everything when so many of them dont evenknow basic geography....If i tell someone I am Greek, they ask what fraternity I am in, If i tell them Im from Cyprus, they ask where in Florida/California that......I had to explain to someone where South Africa is...and half the time they ask me if thats near Argentina or Chile.......best are the questions if I have wrestled alligators and fought lions in South Africa, and whats it like living in trees......sorry after being in america for 15 years a day doesnt go by that the stupidity of some people in this country doesnt surprise me

SpongeBob....america is the current superpower, but it wont always be, eventually someone will over take it.....but I agree with you, when the US goes down, the rest of the world will too because of alot of dependence....as far as military, technology, and loans...you can argue that both ways........I do not want to see the downfall of the US, I would like to see americans paying more attention to the world, and I dont mean watching fox news.......

you really need to live here longer and take a harder look at americans. im just giving you a real life example here, of all the people i come into contact with on a daily basis does not even come close to expounding thier or "our" greatness. dont correalate being arrogant with being ignorant. one can be both and have reasonable reasons for being both.

ive been in America for 15 years......i find many american ignorant and arrogant......however, i still view myself as a foreigner in the US and always will, i was just raised differently and have very different cultural views......so by no means is my view point of ameicans unbiased......my low tolerance level for people doesnt help either

i view myself as being unbiased on alot of political topics, but there are some that just get to you....i do strongly agree though that any source you use for news does have its biases, and that is why multiple sources....sadly most people watch one news station and they believe its always right
