Lithium has kidney toxicity. There is no apparent direction interaction with AAS.
SSRI's have no interaction with AAS.
If you have bipolar disorder (I am assuming it from your use of lithium), AAS can possibly exacerbate it.

Well first of all when i took them my heart was racing and i was sweating really bad..depends what you are taking..i was taking effexor and would not even think of takin aas.

strictly-bro-ology, but a number of bros (including my bro-in-law) found test actually helped their bipolar--sort of helped them stay level longer without the cycling episodes; his doc mentioned test has been studied for mood altering properties in elderly men with good results.

my only concern is what happens when you come off---in my bro-in-law it appeared to trigger a few fast cycling episodes--so he tried a low dose TRT (doc supervised) and has not had another episode (except he now has significant secondary polycythemia issues that are not treatable by phlebotomy alone).

I have had a similar experience since starting trt.

I am biolar and take lithium. The lithium made a difference in helping to control mania symptoms, but sometimes felt down or lacking drive. Since starting TRT i am more level and have not had a significant episode of cycling or more than normal periods of depression or mania. However, i did not start trt to help with depression, i had subclinical testosterone levels.

Been on 150 effexor off and on for 7 years. No issues with AAS at all. Don't know lithium. My issue was for anxiety/panic attacks. Bipolar is a whole different animal.

if your problems are severe,, I would avoid strong AAS cycles
