I did this for 5 months while training for my first show. I didn't notice much in the way of muscle gains. Insulin puts a quick 10Lbs on me similar to creatine but the weight is primarily contained in the muscle cell and the increased vascularity is ridiculous! Insulin is very anabolic and anti catabolic. I came in with glute striations at that show but also passed out twice from hypoglycemia. I avoid insulin these days unless I decide to run it with serostim. Insulin was never heart friendly for me. I got random heart palpitations and a pounding heart beat.
