Don't know how body builders dose it,
but proper dosing for a diabetic goes like this:
0.3units/kg/day (1kg = 2.2 pounds)
split total dosage up into 2 doses, take 2/3 total daily dose 30 minutes before breakfast and 1/3 30 minutes before dinner.
total morning dose should be divided up as 2/3 NPH or lente, and 1/3 regular (always draw the regular up first)
total evening dose should be divided up 50:50 between NPH and Regular
Diabetics then adjust the dosage according to BS level
I don't think I would recommend using Insulin, even if your not a beginner. Like someone said earlier, it could cause you to become diabetic, and thats a disease that is not fun to deal with. If you take insulin, your B-cells in pancreas will likely shut down, and not make their own insulin (like any negative feedback mechanism). If they don't start making insulin after you stop taking it, then your basically screwed. There are much better, safer things to take IMO.
