I am preparing to start my fourth cycle in a few weeks, a cycle of Anadrol-50, Test., and Deca. Now I have always been pretty conservative with past cycles, but as you can see, this is a rather powerful cycle.
In the past, I have avoided insulin use due to the dangers and risks inherent in its use. Still I have read and heard much information that seems to all indicate that insulin does indeed work synergistically with anabolic steroids in building lean muscle mass, increasing the effectiveness of the anabolics, and so I would like to (carefully) incorporate this into my next cycle.
I am planning on using Humulin-R, a shorter=duration (6-8 hours) insulin to reduce the risks. I'll also get one of those blood sugar measuring devices. My questions are in regards to using the insulin.
I've read that one should use 1IU per 15-20# of body weight DAILY. At 210#, I would work up to about 10IU after beguinning slowly at a low dosage and watching for any troubles. From what I've read, it is best to administer insulin right after a workout or towards the end of a workout. Then to ingest a high-carb drink (100 grams of carbs or more) like apple juice or a carb-drink from the gym, perhaps adding creatine to it, as the insulin supposedly helps with the creatine uptake too. After an hour, I would plan on eating a good high-prtoein meal. DOES THIS ALL SOUND CORRECT?
Also, I've read (and heard) different things about injecting the insulin. Some say to go subcutaneously, pulling a flap of skin on the arm and injecting there. Others say intramuscular is ok too, as in a thigh muscle. Are these both acceptable?
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks,
