Follow the instructions. Just slide into the mount and plug in. Turn on computer and let windows search for the plug-ins, then install software. and you're goood.

Well, it would be nice if it were that simple...

Mount it in the PC and plug your IDE cable and power cable. **Note** On IDE cable, red stripe always goes closest to power supply. Red stripe = Pin 1.

Normally, you have to go in to the computer's BIOS and make sure it is seen there. If you don't, your operating system will never see it. Once you have done that, go in to windows. You should now have a new device, you should see two (2) CD-Roms in my computer (assuming there was a regular CD-Rom already in the PC to begin with...)

Install the software for the burner.

Start pirating software, especially anything made by Microsoft.

That's pretty much what I said Nimrod, follow the instructions.

How do I go into the bios? Is this a phyical thing or is it a program thing I have to do before the comp loads up windows?
