a symptom of depression and/or anxiety is waking up an hour or two before you normally would and not being able to get back to sleep.

yeah my mood is pretty shitty, how long will it take to go back to normal, cycle of deca ends next week will stay on winny for 3 weeks after then do pct

Well right now it's physiological so if you don't get too wrapped up in thinking about it, you can avoid it becoming psychological too. At that point, it could affect you for a long time to come. Try relaxation techniques and meditation if you're into it.

for those nights i cant sleep i eat melatonin about 900 to 1200mcgs im like a log till the clock goes off

what helps me sleep is reading, no tv, for at least an hour before bed. I also take anti anx/dep. meds too so that is what I USED to do. Now all I have to do is pop them pills and lights out. Not saying that's a great alternative, but it's working for me.

i have meds, and fall asleep no prob, i just am up at five sweating sometimes, and can't go back to sleep, its not falling asleep thats the problem the pills knock me the fuck out

try some St john Worth at your loca vitamin or supplements store......natural antidepressant.........

I'd recommend this too. I wouldn't mess with prescriptions unless absolutely necessary. St. Johns Wort is clinically proven to balance and regulate serotonin levels which helps your mood stay positive. No harmful or dependent sides like the prescriptions either.

I always wake up and can't fall back asleep. . . I hate it. I used to not even be able to fall asleep with out my melatonin, and I would take 3mgs. I haven't used that in a while but my anxiety wakes me up every night, and thats it. Can't go back to sleep.

I tried to address this earlier. Right now it's physiological - meaning your body's imbalanced state is causing a negative reaction in your brain chemistry. If your brain becomes involved with unbalanced neurotransmission for too long, it will become psychological as well. At that point, your anxiety waking you up could last for a very long time. One of my psyc professors swears by St. Johns Wort. Takes a few weeks to notice it's effects, but I'd definitely give it a try.

I have generalized anxiety disorder as it is, when I cycle it just gets worse. So in your case hopefully yours will get better.

i am the same way, so i hope your right, always had trouble sleepin, but my meds have always gotten me through shit.

yeah, i hear ya, i don't take any meds specifically for it anymore, i tried to get away from all of that stuff, I figured i put enough into my body as it is

Ambien works like a dream. lol. If i can't go back asleep after I wake up early, i'll take a half of an ambien and lights out for another 3-4 hours. It's not depression, it's the overwhelming hormones doing this to you. Don't waste your time with the otc crap, you are on aas and you need the good stuff. And yes it will go away about 3 weeks after your last shot (or earlier).
