Injuries, pain and suffering

Gall Bladder.

I have a pretty high pain tolerance but that shit had me screaming at the top of my lungs.

And uh...morphine once I got to the hospital for the second time.

Sciatica, Oxicotin

Also, I was in a bad car accident and woke up in the hospital for 3 days. That did`nt hurt though, but was messy.

Luckily, I've never been really seriously injured, or ill. My worst injury was probably a broken wrist in 1st grade. That shit killed.

I don't know what was worse. Breaking every bone in my arm or all the gynocological problems I've had.

I had bones sticking out of my arm when I broke it. Blood gushed out. It was extremely painful while I sat in the ER that night. Then having tobe hospitalized to have surgery to put pins and screws in my arm was horrible. I was 10 years old and I layed there in my hospital room with a girl who was at least 16. I didn't even speak English so I couldn't talk to the nurses.

All my gynocological problems through the years have brought excrutiating pain. This is a recurring issue. I can't even take any medication for it. Its so painful sometimes I just want to forget about having children in the future. And just having a hystorectomy to rid myself of this pain.

With all my gynocological problems I've had to deal with other illnesses. Anemia being the worse. I've even had to have a blood transfussion once. Going from 120lbs. to 98lbs. with this illness was horrible. I felt like I was going to lose more weight and eventually die.

Sorry. I like to be babied when I get ill. I think a lot of men do. The last time I had a fever, several years ago, my ex wife rubbed me down and it was gone, just like that.

Yea most men are babies when they are ill.

I don't even like to be talked to when I'm sick. I like to be alone in my own house.

the last time bikinimom posted I felt like I was going to vomit for days...

syrup of ipacac cleared it up though

I know a woman at work that had a hysterectomy when she was 23. She is 50 now and looks way younger. The Dr. told her that having a hysterectomy will cause you to age much slower. This is what she told me.

If I had at least one child I would of had a hysterectomy years ago.
Now I live with the pain when it comes and everything else that I must deal with to one day give my husband the chance of being a father to some children. Yes I know I could adopt but nothing can replace being pregnant, experiencing all the changes, giving birth, etc.

Very admirable. I hope you get married soon then. No need to suffer like that.:)

I smashed my elbow and wrist this January.

Elbow: dislocated, smashed radial head, tore a ligament off my humerus. The surgery where I got three screws in the bone and a pin to hold the ligament on the bone was much worse than the injury itself.

Wrist: broken scaphoid bone. No surgical intervention necessary.

I'm still rehabbing the elbow, I wasn't supposed to get full ROM back but I'm still stretching it and it gets better. Can't lift with it at all yet.

Wrist still gets sore at times and cracks and shit.

How I got thru it: painkillers and perseverance. The will to recover to my fullest is strong.

Now I use NSAIDs and still more perseverance. I am also on antidepressants becase having this horrible accident definitely contributed to depression and anxiety.

Nearly lost a leg to a farming accident , knee so swollen it turned black.
Countless rugby injuries.
nothin even comes close to havin my heart broken tho.

Ouch that sounds painful!

At least you only had to experience these once.

I know a good women who can't have children now due to problems that are common in her family, beautiful person. Hope you find relief and have children Nvrbuffenuff_girl. On the other hand pain let's me know I am alive, gets my attention and brings focus.

Nope heart broken twice , second time hurt much more , or maybe its just more recent. Kinda thought it was forever when she tattoed my name on her ass.

Well that was dumb of her.
No , it was far dumber of me to (one year after she did it) get a similar tattoo on my right quad insertion point and then have ta get it lasered off. I think we would have broken up earlier if not for the tattoo , I was enchanted with it for a long time.

Yea I guess you were both equally as dumb in this case.

What's the worst injury or illness you've ever had?

How did you handle the pain this caused?

Peripheral neuropathy caused by TTS(Both feet).

Both tendons in both ankles were squishing the tibial nerves.

Thats what you get for playing competitive soccer. :)

Minor surgery+8 months of recovery.

But retard me, since I'm stubborn as hell went a good 6 months in serious neural pain. Every time I kicked the ball it was like a bolt of lightning shooting up my leg.

I just learned to tune it out until my mother made me go see a specialist in sports neurology, here in the US.

I'm 100% now......but damn.....never thought that I could feel that amount of pain.

Nerve injuries have to be the worst.

Anemia?

You should ask your Doc to prescribe you EPO(Brand name Procrit)

It will raise your RBC counts to normal levels.

EPO stimulates the bone marrow to produce more red blood cells.

Not really available in Europe for prescription. But it is in the US.

Fonz

I do see the doctor. My anemia goes away and comes back. Its because of my gynocological problems. I have to get my red blood cell count taken every month because of this.

No matter what I've taken or done to help my anemia it comes back because I lose so much blood. :(

Then you have an internal problem somwhere near you ovaries or fallopian tubes. Some artery must be open there. Have you ever gotten an MRI or and ultrasound of the uterian cavity?

FOnz

Yes I have.
If you knew the gynocological condition I have it would all make sense to you.

I do not have an open artery. Its all due to my condition.

It must be congenital then. That really sucks.

My sister has Lupus......so I'm familiar with recurring health problems.

I crashed on my bike and severed my index finder in two by sliding across the pavement with all my body weight on top of it. I was very lucky to have it re- attached. The ride to the hospital was definately the most painful part, once i got to the ER they injected me with demerol (sp?) and I was out like a light.

Weird thing is Lupus is genetic, yet she developed it. And there are no Lupus occurrences in my family in Spain going back like 5 generations......as far as I could research from out here in the US.
Most of the records are written...lol and are in the archives in Madrid.

Still, with the right supplements and food, you can put Lupus into remission.

She's in remission now. She takes all the supplements I do. :) OTC that is. :)

Fonz

That's sort of like my condition.

Only my great grandmother and my cousin who is the second to oldest grandchild and I have it. I'm the second to younger grandchild.

My great grandmother was able to conceive without any complications. Although she had the condition it never bothered her.

My cousin has never been able to conceive and the condition is more complicated for her than it is for me.

It really scares me as I pretty much have a 50/50 chance to conceive.

Not being 100% able to have children must be scary in a way...specially for a woman.

I want a family...but later.....29,30 around there.

Not till then. First need to travel around the US, Asia, and Australasia...pretty much done Europe entirely.

Yes the age at which Spanish people have children is getting younger and younger.

I have 8 different generations of cousins. I have also yet to see some of my younger ones that are less than a year old.

Spain is fun in so many ways. I miss it.

Funny thing is Puerto Rico which is part of the US does not have the same drinking age.
You can legally drink in PR at 18.

I really miss just sitting in an open bar en la Castellana, en Madrid, drinking sangria from a big ceramic(pottery) pitcher and just talking the night away with my friends, until its time to really go out(3 AM or so).

Too bad about your plans. Vegas is supposed to be great.

Its my B-Day...reason why I'm going w/ friends.

Fonz

I was going for the same reason.

My ex boyfriend, some friends and I made plans to go late last year. We purchased plane tickets and made reservations. I still planned on going until a few weeks ago. I decided I didn't want to go with him anymore. It would of just been an uncomfortable situation. I didn't want to deal with it especially since it would of been my birthday.

Broke both bones in my leg in a rugby injury which was very painful.

Broken nose in rugby.

Bad lower back injury from rugby which kept me prone for 2 weeks. Still gives me problems.......extremely painful when it goes on me.

But nothing too serious though, touch wood.

I don't know....I'm sexually active...but not overly kinky or anything like that....but she's like at the FAAAAARRRRRRRR, FAAAARRRRR end of the spectrum. She's smart and funny but damn, no inhibitions whatsoever. I just have to grow more accustomed to her character first.

I was just in a 4-year long distance relationship...so I'm a bit rusty...lol

I learned the meaning of pain tolerance. I didn't know anything of pain until October 17th, 1997.

I broke my lumbar spine, L-4, L-5. No pain meds. I wore a Boston Overlap Brace for 3-4 months. Cried in bed every night with 1" range of motion all around.

Now I know what REAL pain is.

polishhammer please read the post, this post was bullshit posted by anabolicmd pretending to be a girl with pain and suffering and not being able to bear children

its just as bad if not worse than a faking cancer

lol was it actually ever PROVEN?
