Hi, I had just started cutting to look good on the Australian beeches for summer (aim was to go from 10-11% to 6-7%).
But its hit a major hitch - an injury from deadlifting, which I stupidly decided to play tennis on, and now cannot barely move. I have been like this for a couple of days, have no idea how long it will last.
At the moment, my maintenance is probably just above my BMR at 1706.65 given my day consists of doing pretty much nothing, lying on my stomach and doing a few exercises the physio gave me.
What should I do - abandon the cut, and just eat my BMR until I can train again; or , eat say 1200-500 calories per day whilst injured, cutting slightly.
I figure I'm going to lose muscle regardless what I do. Frankly, given I have nothing else to do, I'll be happy if I can restrict eating to my BMR (I can see how bordem can lead to increase desire to eat), but should I aim for a slight cut?
