injection aspiration question

Is it necessary to discard the needle and solution if you draw blood when you aspirate? What is the problem with an intramuscular injection of bloody gear?

You don't need to disgard the solution, but you may want to put a new needle on just because the needle you used gets dulled after poking once. To change needles, just draw some air back into the syringe, and swap needles. There's nothing wrong with shooting a little blood back in
