Injecting through a vein

For any Doc's out there or someone with real knowledge and experience on this.

If you do tear a vein how do you know and what are the major symptoms?

You will just get a small bruise and maybe some superficial pain for a day or two if you touch the area...nothing serious.

Absolutely zero. Physicians do it every day. It is the same as the effect of an IV.

I've done it MANY times - no big deal.

dEPENDING ON HOW BIG THE VEIN IS, you may get a blood bruise. That is where the blood flowed under the skin and settled leaving a purplish mark on your body near the injection site.

Goes away in a week or so
