Injecting Primo

Can you push Primo through a 25 guage pin? Or is a 23 required. Remember I'm not asking about drawing, just pushing. Is it very difficult, so much so that a 25 shouldn't be used? I'm ordering pins I need to know, and I prefer 25's.

With the schering I used a few years back I used a 22 or 23 gauge needle and it took FOREVER to push through. I think 25 wouldn't work at all... that shit is thick as hell.

I prefer 21g 1-1/2" myself. However, I think you could get away with a 23. Nothing smaller, or you'll be sitting there with a forearm cramp after 3 hours of pushing.

If you're using a 23g, you might want to heat the oil up a little (run the amp under hot water before you wipe with alcohol and snap it).

Last time I used it<years ago> I only had 22 guage pins. It worked fine, but to tell the truth I don't even know if it was real. The stuff I have now is and I know it's very thick. I guess I'll have to get some 23's.

will take a good 45-60 seconds to push 2ml's.

then again, you can always go slower for better absoroption... also, heating the oil helps (although i've never heated it).

definitely CAN use 25g, I've been doing it for 3 weeks now. 25g in the delt and quads, and 23g for glutes. Even with a 25g, I've got to inject a bit and wait for the pain/pressure to subside a bit and then continue, so even if I did use a 23g, I'd be shooting it as slow as when using a 25g. Like satch said, about 45-60 seconds for 2ml.

i'd also recommend hitting the pecs with a 25 gauge.

I've been hitting glutes w/ 22ga. Hit both shoulders with 3/4x22ga. I heat with water for the shoulders. I'm hitting bi's then quads for my next 4 injections. I shoot 2cc's. I'm guessing 25 ga would take a long time since it takes me at least 1-2 minutes using a 22ga.
