Injecting in a Hair Follicle, Myth?

I've seen this come up a couple times but not much. Is it true you should make certain that you don't inject into a hair follicle? Is this that big of a deal?

uhm, i have no proof and this is only my opinion but that sound pretty stupid. any needle used for in njecting will be much thicker than a hair folicle anyway. why? whats supposed to happen if you would.

It sounded pretty bogus to me too, but just wanted to make sure. Supposedly you could push the hair follicle down to where your injecting and create a "Pilonidal Cyst" which sounds pretty nasty.

Dude...you have hair follicles all over your body and it is virtually impossible to NOT hit one every once in a while. You ever see a Doctor checking your ass out for a follicle? NOPE!

i think what he means is taking the hair down inside with the needle. creating a sort of ingrown hair or something. right?
