Injecting all the gear?

I noticed that after I inject theres a good amount of gear that hasnt been injected because the plunger can only go so far. How do you go about shooting all the gear? Or do you guys not mind getting the little amount left. The only logical thing to do from what I;ve heard is to probably leave some air in the syringe and watch while injecting to make sure when you get to the air you stop... what I want to know is how much air do you guys leave there and are there any techniques or other ways of getting all the gear in ya? I dont want to waste a drop!

Ditto what they said. Although I don't make it a whole 1/4cc; I make it just barely enough to clear the needle. Maybe 1/16th cc. You can experiment by taking a used syringe and put cooking oil in it, an see what amount of air just barely clears the oil out. And of course you need to be sure the syringe is pointed so that the bubble is as up. When I do quads or delts, it sometimes wants to float to the needle end of the syringe if I don't watch out.

Cool that's what I needed! I will practice a bit with some cooking oil. The gravity part sucks cuz I gotta be on my side so the air bubble is on the top towards the rubber stopper instead of the needle side. That means I need to be in my room which I have no lock for which is a privacy concern arghhhh
