the first thing I notice about a lady is their physical appearance. After a few weeks though this is secondary to their personality.Tell me this isn't just me. when I was younger it was the opposite. Is it age or maturity?
Initially attractiveness but what about later on.

im 18 and already I need some, compatibility in personality....
A truely hot girl who i dont like personality wise, I could not have a relationship with. I might try, motivated by my balls, to keep her, but I would actually be unable.

stringbean, what i normally do in your situation is to start being a bit of an asshole and pissing them off...then they break up with you, and think that it was their idea all along
or you could just do what div said...but its a weeeiiirrrdd feeling to ahve a 30 year old act like a little girl when your 21 year old self breaks it off with her

I have somewhat tried the asshole move, but she doesn't get it. When she calls me I dick around and don't even pay attention, only responding with "uh-huhs" and "yeah"s. When we hang out I refuse to go anywhere but just chill at her house, things that would have typically gotten me dumped by anyone else. I might have to take it to a whole new level.

I don't believe in your scenario, GoldenAppleNugga......
If your only intent is to break up with her, you need to do it on your own of your own volition. Pissing her off enough to make her do it is a self-defeating behaviour and won't get you anywhere. In addition, when you see her thereafter she'll look down on you and won't have the same respect for you than if you'd grabbed your nutsack and broke it off like a true vet.
In retrospect it's always best to confront and act, not avoid and react.
