Inflamed Liver...

If you have an inflamed liver, and do not drink alcohol, what would be some likely causes?

how do you know its inflamed?

i assume the doctors noticed, have they run any blood tests?

it can be infective (hepatitus), alcohol, drug related
pain in the area can be due to other things like gallstones etc


best thing would be to go see a doctor

Well, I had a blood test done and got my results back by mail today.
It says: Inflamed Liver, stop taking medication and return for another test in 1 month. If still inlflamed, more tests needed.

I am only taking ClaritinD and Nasonex next to my supps I am alrady taking.

I dont use any steroids, GH, or pro hormones and havent had alcohol in well over a year. The only thing I can think is I used to take a shitload of chromium when I would cheat but that hadnt happened for a month or two before the test. and no times since then.

hmm, its really hard to guess with no specific results, and im no doctor

but if you had an infection, you may see some signs of the infection in your blood, in terms of viral proteins or raised white cell counts.....so they havent remarked on that meaning they think the cause, whatever it is is self limiting.

i would probably phone them up and ask them to explain the results, its the safest thing to do and would put your mind at rest as all this is just speculation
