Infection??

I developed a blister on my glute today about 1/4 inch from the injection. It looks just like a regular blister, it does have a yellowish looking liquid in it though. I should mention that I did sleep with a heat pad under my ass last night...did i blister my ass with it or is it an infection? Should I stop injecting? Should I pop the blister? Hate to ask alot of questions but Im in alot of pain. Thanks in advance.
 
First, done EVER sleep with a heating pad on......the amount of people that get burns from that are rediculous (hospital settings dont allow it anymore).

Second, what length dart did you use?

Third, cardinal signs of infection are erythema (redness), pain (intense), swelling, heat, purulent drainage (in your case, if the dart wasnt long enough, could be the oil, but id have to see it). Give it a day or so to subside, if any oaf the above symptoms worsen, seek med help.

thanks bro, i used a 25g 1'. From your info, as of right now i dont think i have an infection, the pain isnt intense just very sore, doesnt feel very hot just a little, hopefully i burned it. thanks for the advice.
 
VERY possible a burn, and the dart should be a 1.5 inch, unless you are pretty lean, but it sounds like a blister.

I woudl also agree that its probably a burn...

however on another note... Unless you are REALLY lean, you are MUCH better off using a 1.5 inch for quads and glutes... bury that fucker...

Speaking from experience, I had way more pain whenever i tried to use a 1" instead for my quads (never used a 1 for my glutes)

The oil also disippated much faster... both things I mentioned in my list of things that help with pain :)
