infection ?

did anyone ever have an infection on a site injection ?
what did you feel and how dd you know you had an infection ?

I thought I did a couple of times. Doc just said it was erythema. It was swollen and red, warm to the touch. He said it should go away in a few days, but he gave me some antibiotics (Cipro) to take just in case it didn't. I took them anyway because I was paranoid. It went away though, both times. Although now I'm always sure I have some antibiotics on hand just in case.
