Infection?!? Please help!

I was doing a quad shot today and when I aspirated blood and what looked a lot like puss came back into the syringe. I had no signs before this and I am EXTREMELY sterile. I just switched to a new vet gear I had never heard of. Does this sound like an infection? What should I do? Thanks a lot in advance for the help, I'm a little frightened.

Now theres a little lump at the site, I did NOT inject. This has all happened in the last 5 mins.

I would massage that area with a hot wrag and give it a couple days. If it gets hot and red go see a Dr and be straight with him. They'll give you an antibiotic and you'll likely be fine.

If it dosn't get hot and red should I not worry? Should I stick a needle in and aspirate after a week to find out? Should I continue the cycle?

continue the cycle but leave that area alone. Don't poke it, aspirate it, or fuck with it. Just massage it.

It hasn't bothered me until now. Now I'm scared. Anyone with vet gear knowledge please PM me so I can ask about this one. I hope its not the gear, I paid way too much for it

Don't make a stupid mistake. Go to the doctor ASAP, he/she has to help you and by oath can NOT tell anybody anything!! See a DOCTOR!

Its the next day and theres a small bruise. No heat, redness or swelling. I wouldn't even know if I hadn't aspirated! What do you bros think? Should I wait or go to the Doc?

You could go for peace of mind if you need to but I wouldn't. Based on what you're telling me there is no infection.
