lol I didn't know it was a song. I went to page one and found your link... what's wrong with this band? Are they trying to be depressing or happy? Its all confusing and shit.

OK - maybe they (as people) just annoy me.
But music elicits strong emotions. That is what is great about it.
And yes, I still HATE Coldplay.

Well, as I said, I think the music is whiny.
If I dont like the music then the lyrics have to be exceptional.
The lyrics get the point across but they still don't do it for me. The whole song seems kind of half-assed to me.
If I get (more) bored I'll look through my collection and find something that says the same thing in a way I like.

I know nothing about music but a lot of people seem to compliment the guitar solo.....and I'm more about lyrics than the melody... :)

Coldplay (while sometimes depressing) more or less tells it like it is and leaves it at that vs complaining/whining like a little bitch boy, thinking they're actually acting tough. lol

I think the reverse is true of this song, with the music being pretty and the lyrics, whiny. Actually I'd say this is the whiniest, most sissy-sounding Coldplay song out there.

I think people see it as "love lost" music....I think it's about life in general....
Chris Martin on "In My Place": "That's about where you're put in the world, and how you're given your position, and the way you look, and how you have to get on with it." I think it's relevant...:)
