Is glutamine a type of protein that allows creatine to enter your muscles better.

Also, what should I take with my creatine then? would I take glutamine? is that enough or should I also get protein bars, shakes?

carbs - mainly sugars help get creatine into your muscles better -- try mixing your creatine with a big glass of grape juice

Glutamine is an amino acid...the most abundant one found in muscle tissue.

It won't help creatine absorption, but can be beneficial to take on its own. Many protein supplements and MRPs now have glutamine included or you can take it separately.

Take your creatine mixed with simple carbs or research has found a 50/50 mixture of carbs/protein to be just as good (and who couldn't use some extra protein?).:D
