Anyone seen Mulholland Dr. ?? HOLY CRAP! I am so confused, lost, and frustrated because i couldn't put any pieces of the "puzzle" together. Not to mention being really disturbed! I'll never go to bed tonight. It was so intense i put DodgeBall on to take my mind off of it! :worried:

never seen it

Ya know.... I don't even know if i would reccomend it. Great acting very intelligently written, but you gotta be ready for that!!!!

Your mistake is trying to dissect a David Lynch movie. Logic doesn't apply to what he does. Mulholland Drive has a certain dream like quality to it even if that dream is a nightmare.

flah... yeah i have never heard of David till i saw this movie? What other movies has he directed?
The Elephant Man, Blue Velvet, and Twin Peaks are probably his best known stuff. Lost Highway is worth a viewing. I'd tell you to go find Eraserhead but I think it's still out of print. Maybe not, I haven't searched for it in a long time.

I saw it with some friends, we had a debate afterwards
you gotta figure out what parts are real and what's the fantasy.
the lesbian scenes were HOT!

Mulholland Drive was originally written as a pilot for a TV series. Much like 'Twin Peaks' you would need to see subsequent episodes to fully understand what is going on.

Is that the one with Terry Hatcher? If so I saw it years ago. I do remember it was kinda weird. Like a Tarrantino movie but i don't remember going crazy over it.

Exactly!! I was so frustrated over not being able to figure Lynch movies out until I learned they don't make any fucking sense what so ever!! I did find most of his work somewhat entertaining. you just have to realize nothing really makes much sense so don't try to figure things out.

I saw a double feature back in college yrs ago.....Eraserhead and Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. I was stoned as fuck and Eraserhead freaked me the fuck out. Netflix has it I think. I liked Fire Walk With Me and all the twin peaks stuff. Dune was good. Blue Velvet. A really good Lynch movie is The Straight Story. It's about that guy that drove a lawn mower across a few states to see his ailing brother....nothing fancy and nothing wierd....just a damn good movie.
