I'm like sick, or otherwise f'd up

This week has fucking sucked nuts. I'm in charge at work, which means I'm working every day, 5am during the week, and overnights on the weekend. I'm used to working at 3pm, so this is really fing with my sleep. Pretty much all week I've been getting entirely exhausted about 6pm and going to sleep, waking up at midnight-1, and staying awake for the next few hours. ALL WEEK. Now, I have ALWAYS needed and gotten 8 hours (or more) of sleep, until now. Friday I got like 4, got up at 4am, came back and tried to sleep in the afternoon to prepare for working at 11pm. Couldn't fall asleep! Went to work, came back today, couldn't fall asleep again, got MAYBE 4 hours, and now I have to go back in later! I don't get TERRIBLY tired, but I expect it to hit me like a load of bricks any time now.

I've also gotten sick, I think. I RARELY get sick, so it can be hard to tell. Just a sore throat, but it's been persistent all week. If I was sick, wouldn't I be able to sleep easier? My gf has gotten cultures at the hospital she works at from the town I work in, and wants me to go to a doctor, because there's some nasty shit going around. But I hate doctors, and have little time to go to one. I was thinking if I did go to one, I'd want to get a note saying I couldn't work these bullshit work shifts, but I think work would get rid of me then, as I'd be of little use.

So who else week's fucking sucked? I don't see how I'm gonna make it to the gym on Monday.
 
take a couple hits of good bud about 20 minutes before you need to go to bed. that should knock you right out. some valium would work too but i don't think that's the type of thing you want to rely on to sleep.
