I'm itchin' to get back on

I was out of the gym for about half a year due to injuries and other stupid shit and now I'm struggling to get anywhere. I'm doing really light weights with someone high reps but I'm just wondering how long I REALLY should wait until I get back on. I'm thinking about 3-4 months to get my endurance back and some strength. You think that's enough time or should I wait longer?

Maybe try to get your strength back naturally and once you do then hit the gear?

I know sk*, i'm just asking if this is something that you know yourself or maybe there's a length of time that you should be training before going into heavy movements.
 
I would say it depends on your age Bro'. When I was in my early twenties I went in and out of the gym and found that after 8 weeks of being back in I was up to where I had left off. Now, I am in my early thrities and found that when I started up, 2 1/2 yrs ago, it took me almost 8 months to get back, after a three year break. Look at your records and judge for yourself!

Muscle memory will take care of you quickly. You will be back to where you were, and beyond in no time. It's good to see all is well, and you are back in the game. Good luck brother, I can't wait to hear about your new progress in the upcoming weeks and months :D
