Are you sure she really likes you? I myself wouldn't put any pressure on her to say "Yes" by having your friends/family present. You may regret it down the road when you both realize she didn't have her wits about her. Of course, she could always call off the engagement later too. Do what you want, that's what's best.

Just do it when she least expects it and no matter what, and if you screw it up, she will always remember it as one of the best times of her life, she wont remember if you fall on ur face when ur getting on ur knees, or if u have something green between ur teeth(well maybe shell remember that) but shell remember it with fondness

alert!We have a line of pretty classy restaurants along the river front. We had our first date at this Italian joint there. I was thinking about setting up a fancy dinner at a reserved table on the patio only feet from the river front, copying our first date. Ordering a bottle of Clos De Bois merlot (her favorite). Then after our dinner ask her if she would like to take a walk along the river front. The whole while our family and friends are posed on the second floor patio and I propose right in front of them without her knowing about their presence untill all the flashbulbs light up the night...too cheesy?
