Imagine if steroids were NOT illegal.. Every other person would look like Lee Priest.. But since its illegal and so hard to get. And the media scared most of the people from even thinking about juicing.. Buff people are more rare then there would be if roids were not illegal.. Also think of the sports like football. It would basically be who can juice the most and who is the biggest and who can smash the other person the hardest. EVERYONE would be huge so natural guys wouldnt even have a chance.

So US the buff people that juice.. we stand out more and get more looks.. more chicks.. more whatever.. IM GLAD ROIDS ARE ILLEGAL. Makes us look better.
 
oh for sure! Ialways think about what it would be like if gear was legal.
 
it'd like to see it be illegal but not a criminal offense to posses ammounts for personal use.
 
I can see your point but I thnk the meia has a lrge role to play in thier negative stigma as well. Being legal or not a criminal offense would likely encourage more to try it, but they allready have such a bad rep, likely many would still be afraid.....but all in all, I wouldnt want it to become as popular as drinking and smoking. :)
 
Since we're just thinking about the way things could be here, what if they were legal, cheap, easy to get, but only a few people did 'em? Huh? How 'bout that? Oh, and my personal fav, what if I could somehow learn to put muscle on and burn bodyfat just by concentrating very hard? I'm talking like 20 lbs. of muscle in ten minutes.
 
Actually I wish they were legal, think of all the R&D into new designer steroids there would be. Truthfull there has been little or no R&D ( I'm talking by the big pharm companies with serious coin to do it right) into steroids in years. By now they may have come out with a super steroid that makes all others look like pro-hormones.

I get hard just thinking about it!!!!

I think if there were legal, like in europe and other countries around the world, there would be very little interest and abuse. If you look around europe you do not see everyone looking like lee preist, hell most of the freaks that are from other countries, besides dennis james, yates, asdn a few others, they nove to the states, where it is illegal. If you notice,when something is made tabo (sp) people do it more and want it more...

Hey they're legal in other countries and you don't see people in Mexico running around looking swole, and even if that was the case we all know that it takes alot of hard work and determination to make it all work. We all know that no matter how much juice you pump into a fat ass couch potato he is still gonna be a fat ass. Work and motivation are the cornerstone of a great body and until they sell motivation in a bottle we are all ok.

I guess you haven't been to other countries where they are legal. I spend a third of my year in countries that gear is legal and people are not huge nor are they really even interested in it. It takes alot of work to be big. You don't just do a shot every week and put on 40 lbs.

This is the stupidest post I have read in a while. So going by your logic everyone in Mexico should look like Ronnie Coleman. Forget training, diet, genetics, dedication, forget all that. As long as juice is legal everyone will be huge. How fucking stupid.
 
i think universally people are lazy and that even though steroids are legal that still doesnt get them off the couch and into the gym. The only reason that health and fitness has caught on as it has (other than economic) is because of the power of media conditioning in America.. looks, money, influence at any cost and also our cultural values dictate that in America we beleive that with hard work anything is possible.. in other countries they seem to beleive what is , is. But universally people are just lazy.... it takes a "special" kind of person to do this to our bodies...
 
Please, it takes a little more than juice to look like Lee Priest. What about Mexico, I guess everyone is a freak there.
 
this is one of the dumbbest posts I've read in a while too... Not only is it dumb it's also shallow...

steroids are legal AND cheap in so many damn countries around the world, yet a great body is still cherished above all... It's about a lot more than roids, and it's about a lot more than looks, chicks, or any other insignificant factor... A lot of it depend on what you have IN you... don't tell me if I hand you the stack of Ray Lewis that you are gonna help a team win the next superbowl..

cigarettes are legal and I don't smoke. I hardly drink either and that's legal. Many people don't take supplements bc they feel its bad for them. these are the same ppl that wouldn’t touch an AS.
If you have no real interest in AS then you will never make any progress with it whether they're legal or not.
also, legal doesn't make them safe. not everyone is going to shoot up 8gms of test bc they are legal...
and what makes you think football players are not juicing to the max right now?? you kidding me. these guys have more access to more of anything than the avg joe!
I wish they were legal!!!!!!!!!!!! You wouldn't have to worry about anything!!

Although I'd like to see big Pharm Co.'s like Pfizer and such get involved with steroid research...It would be a nasty trade-off cuz being a big brutish bastard would be the norm. It seems like more and more people are in shape anyways. Besides, we still have a lot of good companies that still do research under false veterinary fronts like Tokkyyo. There's some pretty strong stuff out there guys. I mean, how much stronger can it get?

I agree with you but your views are flawed. Most people quit because they take a long time to see results. If people used juice that normally wouldn't, they'd see results a lot faster compared to going natural--so I think a lot more people would become bigger because the results would encourage the people taht would otherwise wind up fustrated and quit.

A lot of other people in other countries don't bother with lifting because their economy isn't as good as ours. We have a lot of recreational time and extra money to blow on juice. For us, it's a lot easier to come up with the money necessary to build a good cycle.
 
OK OK some countries allow steroid use.. But THATS TOTALLY DIFFERENT! We americans, we like to look good. Now adays if your not up to expectations you get made fun of. AMERICA is ALL ABOUT looking good. And ur saying everyone in mexico isnt juicing because they dont want to? BS. They can barely afford to feed their fuckn kids yet alone buy cycles. Im saying think of how different it would be in AMERICA if it was legalized.. And we got alot more time then them. biznatch.

Also keep in mind that until recently, it has not been easy for people to share info on AS( ie the internet)because they're illegal it is still an iffy thing to do (on certain points, ie sources). Watch this board and others and see how much counterfitting, scamming is being done, not to mention some of the really dumb things people do to themselves bacause they don't know any better. And how many abcess posts have you seen??

Also how many people ask medical questions here because they're afraid to ask their doctors. Making steroids illegal has hurt far more kids than it's helped!!!!

My parents neighbor is a dialysis nurse, you know how many guys in their early to mid 20's she's treated in the last decade for AS related kidney problems??? All beacause they were too afraid to ask a doctor.

No need to question eachother's intelligence boys, none of us are that smart since we're on this board anyway! :p But Xalthus, I agree with you to a point as usual, but there are some major detriments to the illegality of gear.
 
athlete i was yea.. but that was like 4 days ago when i thought of this.. And posted it now.. one time I even made up my own knot while sleeping and remembered it the next day.. it works.
 
Just think. If they were legal, we also wouldn't have to hide it from our g/f's and wives. All of a sudden, it would be ok, just because it's legal. After all, the government knows best. :rolleyes:

I was just thinking that myself yesterday. Everone who had slightly beeter genetics
than myself would look better than me, but since most people don't have access to
juice, I can overcome that problem.:devil:

According to your logic, taking steroids makes you instantly an IFBB pro. I have seen a lot of photos of guys on this board and some look good, some look like they are wasting their money, but none look like an IFBB pro.

Steroids are not magic and chances are that if they were legal many people would still look like shit.

if they ever do become legal u can bet that the orals would be the only ones anyone would touch (who doesnt do AS now).

Do I sense a tinge of condecention? Don't treat me like a newbie or stupid. I've put in some serious study time. I'm simply playing the role of devil's advocate. Not only this but I'd say that there will always be stupid people who get hurt off of something due to a lack of education which is out there, besides the internet--like books, veterans, etc. People will always get hurt because there is always someone who goes too far, despite how easy it is to get education. Legal or not, some people will abuse AS and pay the price just like alcohol and such. Besides, I think more people are benefiting, rather than getting hurt--especially nowadays.
