IGF...what water to use?

I have generic IGF in 1000mcg bottles. I was going to mix it with Baceriostatic water at 1ml which is 100mcg a day for 10 days.
I would then simply draw up .1ml from the vial and inject 1x4 notches and 2x 3notches at 3 times a day (ie 40mcgs in am, 30mcg in lunchtime and 30mcgs tea time). I realise that the fluid ammount is tiny..is that a problem?
Is that method ok or would Baceriostatic water not hold it for 10 days?

I see some say to use acetic acid to mix and if the igf comes from china.......mine does dont mix with Bacteriostatic water.

Would be interested to hear how you guys mix igf of 1000mcg vials that do not come with water. I realise ordinary sterile water does not hold igf for more than a couple of days but i thought baceriostatic held it for much longer?

I think you will be fine with the BW as long as you keep the bottle cold. It should be fine for 10 days. But as Cutt said, the AA would work a little better. Mines mixed in benzyl alcohol and will last a long time that way.
 
IGF-1 recon instructions:

First remove the vacuum from the vial, by injecting air into it. when the vacuum is gone it will no longer pull the plunger down

you can use as much AA as you like. i personally use 2ml because it is easier to measure later when you draw it into a syringe.

a 1/2 ml syringe is like this
llll5llll10llll15llll20llll25llll30

each line is 1 unit 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10. this makes it easier to measure.

if you use 2ml of aa, on a 1/2 ml syringe each line is 5mcg...the 5line is 25mcg, 10 line is 50mcg...etc

so you see that the easiest way to measure is using 2ml and a 1/2ml pin

your igf is stored in aa solution, nacl (or BW) is added to dilute at the time of injection. draw twice as much nacl as igf. so if you draw igf to the ten line, draw nacl to the 30 line and you are ready to go. diluting lessens the sting from the acid and prevents tissue necrosis.
 
Thanks for imput.....I think those that know this subject should really expand as I have searched the forums and see so many different approaches! The norm seems to be dilute the igf in Acetic water, then at time of injection draw up Bacteriostatic to mix.
That much I can agree seems to be general BUT and it is a big BUT..the question is:
Bacertiostatic water has 0.9% benzyle alcohol in it, I assume this is put into sterile water for a reason....will the Baceriostatic water hold the IGF for 10 days alone ie without Acetic water??????

All above instructions are good and clear but this point needs clarifying as most do not know the answer......
