BTW here is some info on the product if it helps...this shit is confusing...
Like LongR[3]IGF-I, [Arg-3]IGF-I also has a lower affinity for the IGFBPs.
The benefit of [Arg-3]IGF-I is that it is non-immunogenic as compared with Long[3]IGF-I. An immunogenic response could result in anaphylactic shock, or over time antibodies could be produced that would make your system reject its own IGF-1. The rate of protein synthesis for [Arg-3]IGF-I is the same as LongR[3]IGF-I with out the immunogenic response. Our Biotech company carries the following analogues of IGF1:
-LongR[3]IGF-I for invitro use only and sold in 20mg lyophilized vials.
-des (1-3) IGF-1 for invivo use and sold per mg/ reconstituted and lyophilized as well in 20 and 50mg vials.
- [Arg-3]IGF-I for invivo use and is sold per mg/reconstituted and in 50mg vials lyophilized.

We use a special reconstitution buffer that includes the following:
The reconstitution buffer is as follows:
0.9% benzyl alcohol (bactericide)
99.1% 1X phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.40 {potassium/sodium phosphoric acid salts}
1mg [Arg]3-IGF1
The entire contents are 0.2 micron sterile filtered through a low
protein-binding membrane, polyethylene sulfonate (PES, Nalgene Inc).
After receiving our IGF-1 and letting it thaw at , it can last over 30 days refrigerated(4C). The manufacturer claims closer to 40 days refrigerated in the reconstitution buffer. We ship our reconstituted product frozen and on dry ice.
