Have you changed up tri workouts? Like moved to skullcrushers or something? It could be also that you jumped up in weight and it stressed out your elbows. I got that pain in my elbows after using Deka. I bumped from 85 pound db incline press to 100 pounds in like two weeks and my skull crushers went from 90 to 120 in about the same time.
It was probably just too fast on the increase. Also if you keep your thumbs next to your hand while doing tri exercises, wrap them around the bar. It takes some stress of the elbows.
