what did you call with pre flop when he bet heavily?
I don't wuite remember but it was probably something like a suited jack and a low card, I wouldn't call with two low cards. I vaguely even remember the hand but this dude wouldn't shut up about it all night, as if that caused his downfall for the night. The guy was making stupid bets all night and lost about $300

oh yeah, there was a $60 buy in, you got 60 chips (each worth $1), and additional buy ins allowed, 8 people. Started with $1, $2 blinds and raised the blinds every hour. By the time we were at $4, $8 the pots were $100+

There was lots of money on the table, a couple of people kept pulling money out of their pocket and buying more chips. I won my $60 back and $100 overall, not bad, two dudes won $200+, the guy crying about his pocket aces lost the most over all.

i like the typical 10-20 starts with 15 - 2k in chips...

and i too ALWAYS lose with pocket pairs... they suck online... in real life they are a bit better but online they SUCK.

The blinds rose every hour in a cash game? That's usually done on tourney style not live action games. Was it PL or NL?

yeah, the blinds rose every hour, but at $4/$8 the pots where already ridiculous so we stopped it there. For example, on $4/$8, you could only raise $4 at a time on pre flop and flop, then $8 at a time on the turn, and river, I think there was a 3 time reraise cap.

what's PL, NL?
