If you could go back to highschool

I, myself, would be more involved in sports and other extra curicular activities, not been so shy and withdrawn, gotten in better with the teachers, and stuff like that.

Would not go back. It sucked, did not learn much. Schools catered to the lowest common denominator and they still do. Nothing captured my interest or sparked my imagination.

I wouldn't want to go back, it sucked. I can't think of anything I'd like to have done differently though... I guess, not dated that first boyfriend..ugg.

but going back to high school would be my idea of hell

Word.

Unless I was really able to inflict some pain on some people.

Course, knowing what I know now, most of those people got what they deserved in life.

Hmmm ... good question.

Not exactly sure what I'd do... but one thing is for sure... I'd rule that MF'r...

Lots more sports. All I did in high school was get wasted, and the min. amount of work to graduate.
I was too shy as well, there was alot more tail around back then. Now they're all married or nasty whores.

gregory, exactly. My question is, what would you have done differently to make it a more positive experience?

Honestly i don't know. I graduated in the top 8% of the class and that route did not float my boat. But if i knew then what i know now, i think i would have relaxed more and made more friends, have been less judgemental. My changes would have been changes about myself and character, those are the things that changed about me the most as i've grown into adulthood.

start doing drugs way earlier and not buy into the "this is your brain on drugs" eggs-over-easy propaganda
Thats what I did, and my brain is fried. Seriously.
And I havent smoked weed in over 5 years, hard stuff for over 10. Brain cells dont grow back.

Its refreshing to see that Im not the only person who hated highschool. God i was so depressed but I thought at the time I was having so much fun.

I wouldn't want to go back but if I did I would absolutely dominate on the football field.

When we go back, do we get to take the memory of everything we know today with us? If not, then I wouldn't want to repeat those years for anything. But if so:

1: I'd hit the weights
2: Get laid
3: Study
4: Get laid
5: Make an effort to get accepted to something better than just the state university
6: Get laid
7: Hit the weights some more

I would bone all the chicks that I now know I could have boned but just didn't know how to take the next step form 2nd base, to 3rd to home.

Although I fucked up a lot in high school (went from honor classes to regular schmoe classes; graduated with all D's and in summer school;was rarely there) I had a blast, so I'm not sure I'd change much of that.

sorearms dont feel bad. I was an underachiever (lazy) in high school too.
believe me, I don't, I had a blast! I had the smarts to do well, I just fell in with the "wrong crowd" and wound up partying everyday instead of being in school. I'm gonna write a Catcher in the Rye type of book about it some day.
