If there was a metal forum, I wouldn't have to read all this other stupid shit . . .

People might say there's already a music forum, but obviously it's changed. The same thing happened to the spirit forum, which used to be philosophy, science, and life reflection, but now has had the whole first page overrun with christian nonsense (like a cut and paste of the gospel of john ?!?). When mindless chat denizens drift over to speciality forums, they tend to disintegrate it with stupidity. The whole first page of the music forum is now overrun with nonsense that can't even be called music. In the words of Lewis Black, "MTV is video. Video is for your eye. Music is for your ear. Eye ... Ear ... big fuck difference!"

I would even like to see the metal forum to have recs, reviews, and possibly music theory/tablature discussions from people like c-sharp etc. I have a good first post on the locrian and phrygian modes and some classic-to-modern metal riffs derived from those modes

Why don't we just use our platness to create a metal board?

I think I had this idea a while back, but it didn't go anywhere.
