It'S already a vacation hotspot. I went there twice at the beautiful hotel Melia Varadero. Pretty cheap place plus its very safe. The beach there is among the best i've seen. Whats wrong with Cuba ?

well I think he doesnt really need the US money since he already has nice contacts with SPain, France and Canada especially and thats what exactly piss off the US. BTW he never declared war to the US, your country just felt ridiculized to see such a small island not to respect the US standards like other bananas countries (Chili for example).....
