Ideal Job - Teacher (=

Hard-Bitten

New member
I always wanted to be teacher ever since, I was little (= I've always admire teachers/educators.

What was /is your ideal job? is what you are doing now?

I'm good at what I do now, sales. I used to think it was my ideal job but I'm burned out now so that can't be it. Now I'm moving to the states and gonna learn how to drive as many pieces of heavy construction machinery as I can. That has always sounded like an ideal job, we'll see.

Where are you going??

My ideal job is part-time and I'm hoping to turn it into a full-time deal in 5-7 years. My current full-time job just pays the bills and provide health insurance.

I am happy where I am. I am a supports coordinator (case manager) for individuals with mental retardation. Also work as a delegate for mental health crisis. very rewarding.

i see myself as a teacher in my 40s too. Unless i'm a rich skunk and have to run an empire instead. i guess i'll be a elementary teacher. can't stand high school kids.

I'm actually a year and a half away from becoming a special education teacher in the elementary schools. It is a very rewarding profession.

I want to have my own florists / wedding planning business. I used to work in a florists (part time through uni) and I loved it. Now I work in an office at a desk alllllll day, and there's no way I want to be doing this forever, I want to do something creative even more than before!

Currently in the move to my ideal job. Enrolled right now to become a radiology tech but transferring to another school to major in Biology. Once undergrad is done, I want to get my masters in animal behavior or evolution (not sure exactly yet). Science has always been my passion but I have always talked myself out of it due to the low wages. Now, I said fuck it and go after my dream. If I fail, at least I can say I tried to follow my dreams

If I go back to school, this is what I'll probably do. Working year round sux.

Im in the military, but its really only a side for my true passion of working with retards. Those goofy bastards are about the best thing I've got going.
