Iceing before sticking

What is the problem with icing the area to numb it before sticking a needle in it....I heard it may cause a sist. but on the other hand i heard that is just a rumor..I iced my ass and the shit went in like butter and i was not even sore.........

But damn, your going to have to get used to it sometime. What size pin are you using ? I draw with an 18guage and push with a 25 guage. I can barely feel it. I don't know if I just get good gear or if I just don't have pain in my ass. I have had 2 shots that hurt pretty bad and I have done a lot of injections.

my first few injections i did this, no problems at all, everything always went fine, just got tired of doing it and it took too long so i quit it and just jab it now, hell it doesn't hurt anyways, except a 23g in the bicep can tickle a little every now and then

Yeah,
I used to ice it, even when I was doing slin injections with a 30g pin. Just took up too much time and just ended up gritt'n my teeth and just putting it in. One thing that does help is the alcohol, it seems to have a numbing effect on the area anyway. I used to swab the alcohol on any stick myself when it was dry, OUCH!, but with the alcohol still wet i can't feel it at all.

i am not tryig t be a pussy or anything........just the intial poke makd me flinch and that shit hurts...this is my first cycle...and i cann prepare myslf everytime it is goingin my ass.. iam fine once it is in there....but just getting it in is the problem...So does anyone know any truth about ice causig sists......
